As the Delivery and Maintenance General Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Restaurant Supply Runner team to meet company expectations and store needs, creating a positive and motivating work environment, receiving and delivery of product to stores through and in conjunction with the Restaurant Supply Runner team, general facilities management including repair/maintenance /reporting and vendor sourcing/management, and general management of daily, weekly and monthly administrative duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, such as reaching, bending, turning, and stooping.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, as much as length of shift.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull or carry materials and products up to 100 lbs or more.
  • Repetitive hand motion for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Proficient in computer programs, such as email, google docs/sheets, basic excel and word.
  • Ability and willingness to work any shift as business requires: mornings, nights, weekend, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to communicate professionally at all times in writing, on the phone, via text and in person.
  • Ability to Follow all TSA rules when going into and out from secured area of the airport.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism when faced with challenges in the airport environment
  • Multi-lingual, a plus
  • Experience managing a team, a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the Restaurant Supply Runner Team including but not limited to: coaching and development, accountability, conflict resolution, time management, assignment of duties and scheduling based on business needs.
  • Ensure team has the necessary tools to complete job duties.
  • Provide recommendations on Restaurant Supply Runners' annual reviews.
  • Ensure all coffee and restaurant product is delivered to the stores.
  • Communicate with management teams to better understand and resolve delivery and maintenance issues.
  • Ensure organization of both main storage and restaurant storage is completed.
  • Cover Restaurant Supply Runner shifts as needed for vacations and sick calls.
  • Assist the team with daily duties including but not limited to product delivery, commissary pick-up/delivery and pulling and taking garbage to the appropriate disposal sight.
  • Cultivate new vendors and work with the corporate office for approval and payment.
  • Coordinate escort and t-badging as needed for repair and maintenance projects including personally escorting vendors during the day and overnight.
  • Assist the stores when needed to arrange for repairs, communicate with the corporate office for approval and follow up on work quality/timelines.
  • Weekly maintenance walk-throughs with store managers.
  • Coordinate and/or perform basic store maintenance, such as painting, deep cleaning, hood and water filter changes and store repairs.
  • Coordinate and/or perform regular preventative maintenance of refrigerator equipment and water filters.
  • Facilitate any other duties assigned by the directors/company executives.
  • Ensure company van is maintained. (i.e. Oil changes, brakes, tire rotation etc)
  • Communicate with Directors of Operation for store issues, staff issues and repair and maintenance issues.
  • Weekly schedule completion.
  • Biweekly payroll processing.
  • Daily and weekly reporting on facilities issues.
  • Daily response and follow-up on ongoing maintenance issues.
